Celta Vigo expect sell-out for Juventus Europa League clash
Tickets for the Europa League match between Celta and Juventus are nearly sold out, with only a few seats remaining for the October 15 fixture.
Fans of Celta Vigo are gearing up for a massive European night at the Balaídos stadium. With the Europa League match against Juventus scheduled for October 15 approaching, tickets are almost entirely sold out.
The intense interest from supporters is driven by the prestige of the Italian opposition and the memories of Celta's famous 4-0 win over the Old Lady in the 2000 UEFA Cup. Currently, only about a dozen tickets remain available, with premium pricing ranging from 180 euros for standard seating to 295 euros for the Player Club, which includes VIP access and catering.
This encounter is expected to break the club's attendance record for the season. Currently, the stadium holds 23,432 spectators, and the previous high was set during the match against Athletic Bilbao, which drew 20,902 fans.
The Juventus game carries extra significance as it marks the first match since the renaming of the main grandstand to the Tribuna Iago Aspas. The club captain is working to recover from a muscle injury in time to participate in this highly anticipated fixture, as manager Claudio Giráldez looks to guide his team to another memorable result.
