Bosnia took the lead in the 20th minute when Jovo Lukić connected with a header inside the penalty area to beat the Canadian goalkeeper. Canada pushed for an equalizer before the break, with Tani Oluwaseyi coming close in the 32nd minute, but his powerful shot sailed over the bar.
After halftime, Canada increased the pressure. Sead Kolašinac proved vital for Bosnia in the 53rd minute, clearing a goal-bound effort off the line. Canada's persistence finally paid off in the 79th minute, as Cyle Larin found the back of the net to level the score.
Both teams searched for a winning goal in the final minutes, but the match ended in a stalemate. The result leaves both sides with a point as the group stage continues.
