Italian club Cagliari is actively working in the transfer market, seeking reinforcements for their attacking line ahead of the new season. According to Italian insider Nicolo Schira, the Sardinian club has identified Sunderland forward Wilson Isidor as a potential target.
During the previous campaign, the striker made 32 Premier League appearances and scored 6 goals. Isidor also showcased his quality on the world stage, scoring a goal for the Haiti national team in their thrilling 2-4 encounter against Morocco at the 2026 World Cup.
The player's contract with the Black Cats runs until the summer of 2028, and Transfermarkt currently values the forward at 18 million euros. Cagliari are reportedly monitoring the situation as they explore a potential move.
The club managed to retain their top-flight status last season by finishing 14th in Serie A. However, the team is in clear need of a traditional number nine, as their top scorer, Sebastiano Esposito, managed only 7 goals throughout the league campaign.
