Brazilian clubs turn Father's Day into an engagement and revenue strategy
Clubs in Brazil's Série A and B are rolling out special activations and marketing campaigns for Father's Day to strengthen fan relationships and boost income.

Brazilian football clubs are leveraging this Sunday's Father's Day to implement new commercial strategies. The 22nd round of the Brasileirão is being marked by a series of fan-focused activations designed to increase revenue while deepening the connection between the clubs and their supporters.
In the top flight, the focus is on exclusive experiences. For instance, São Paulo is raffling trips for members to attend the match against Grêmio, while Santos has prepared a package of activations at Vila Belmiro, including photo sessions and father-child matches on the pitch. Other teams, such as Atlético-MG and Bahia, are bundling stadium tours and museum visits with ticket purchases to enhance match-day value.
The commercial push also extends to licensed merchandise. Clubs like Palmeiras and Fluminense have launched special edition apparel specifically for the holiday, helping to drive sales through official channels and increase participation in loyalty programs.
Activity in Série B is equally robust. Botafogo-SP is running a storytelling contest and a charitable drive, exchanging donations of non-perishable goods and clothes for match tickets to support flood victims in the region. Meanwhile, Ceará is offering special privileges to members for their match against Ponte Preta, including player escort opportunities and access to private boxes.
