The Brazil national team concluded their group stage campaign at the World Cup boasting one of the most efficient defensive systems in the tournament. Having secured the top spot in Group C, Brazil now awaits the final results of Group F to determine their opponent for the Round of 32.
Among the potential rivals are the Netherlands, Japan, and Sweden. Despite their European talent, these teams have shown defensive performances inferior to Brazil's. In three matches, the Seleção conceded only one goal and kept two clean sheets.
In contrast, the Netherlands have conceded three goals, Japan two, and Sweden six. The Brazilian defensive line, anchored by Gabriel Magalhaes of Arsenal and Marquinhos of PSG, has been a cornerstone of manager Carlo Ancelotti's tactical setup throughout the opening stage.
