Borussia Dortmund have reignited their interest in 19-year-old Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri. According to Sky journalist Patrick Berger, the German side is exploring a potential loan move as they look for alternatives to bolster their attacking options.
Dortmund have been searching for reinforcements and have added Nwaneri to their shortlist. The Bundesliga club previously expressed interest in the young Englishman last summer, but a deal could not be finalized at that time.
No final decision has been made yet, as the club continues to assess multiple options for their squad. The scouting process remains ongoing as they look for the right fit.
Nwaneri spent the 2025/26 season split between Arsenal and a loan spell at Marseille. During that campaign, he made 15 appearances across the Premier League and Ligue 1, contributing two goals and one assist. The attacking midfielder is currently under contract with the Gunners until the summer of 2030.
