French side Troyes are set to recruit Australia goalkeeper Patrick Beach. The 22-year-old, who made a significant impression during the 2026 World Cup, is expected to join the team following the conclusion of his holiday.
Beach, who has been playing for Melbourne City within the City Football Group, is slated to sign a five-year contract. The deal was moved forward during Brendan MacFarlane's interim tenure as sporting director, with his successor Jocelyn Blanchard expected to oversee the finalization of the move.
This signing addresses a crucial need for Troyes, who have been searching for a replacement for Nicolas Lemaître following his departure to Rennes. Beach will provide competition for current starter Hillel Konaté. Coaches have praised the Australian's work ethic and professional approach to his training routine.
