Argentina's training preparations have been disrupted by severe weather conditions. A heavy storm in Miami forced the coaching staff to cancel a scheduled pitch session, requiring adjustments to the team's plans ahead of their round of 16 match against Egypt.
Unable to access the pitch, the Argentina squad shifted their focus to a regenerative workout in the gym. The team is currently prioritizing physical recovery following a demanding 120-minute match against Cape Verde.
The medical staff is closely monitoring the status of three specific players: Facundo Medina and Enzo Fernández, who suffered from cramps against Cape Verde, and Nico González, who sustained an ankle sprain during extra time.
After securing their place in the knockout stages, Argentina aims to hold two further pitch training sessions before the match against Egypt, scheduled for Tuesday, July 7.
