Andriy Yarmolenko jokes about national team call-up after Ukrainian Cup record
Dynamo Kyiv winger Andriy Yarmolenko surpassed Andriy Shevchenko as one of the top scorers in Ukrainian Cup history and reacted with a humorous remark.

In the 2025/26 Ukrainian Cup final, Dynamo Kyiv secured a 3-1 victory over Chernihiv. Among the scorers for the team led by Ihor Kostiuk was winger Andriy Yarmolenko.
With this goal, Yarmolenko moved past UAF president Andriy Shevchenko in the tournament's all-time top scorers list. Following the match, the veteran player jokingly addressed the legend of Ukrainian football when asked by reporters about Shevchenko's demeanor during the trophy presentation.
