Attacking midfielder Andriy Bezhenar is set to depart Epicentr soon. The 34-year-old, who has spent seven years with the club, will see his contract expire on June 30.
Bezhenar confirmed that his deal will not be extended and admitted that he is currently uncertain about his next steps. The player described his chances of continuing his professional career as a 50-50 split, though he suggested he is leaning towards playing on.
A product of Bukovinian football, Bezhenar played a key role in the club's rise from regional competitions to the top tier of Ukrainian football. Over his tenure, he made 172 official appearances and scored 18 goals. During the recently concluded season, he featured in 16 matches in the top division, contributing one assist.
