FC Kudrivka midfielder Andrii Storchous, a breakout star of the current UPL season, has opened up about his first year at the highest level. At 31, he managed to surprise the football community by scoring 12 goals.
"It was the dream of my entire football life to play at the highest level against the best teams. The debut match against Oleksandriya, where I scored my first goals, will stay in my memory forever," Storchous shared.
When asked about the toughest opponents, the player noted the high quality of defenders at Polissya and Shakhtar, specifically mentioning his battles against Eduard Sarapii and Mykola Matviienko. Despite his individual success, the forward emphasizes that the main goal remains ensuring his team stays in the elite division.
FC Kudrivka is now preparing for the decisive relegation play-offs against Ahrobiznes. Storchous stressed that the team is determined to fight until the final minute to prove they deserve their spot in the Premier League. The player currently dismisses questions about a potential transfer, focusing entirely on the upcoming season-defining matches.
