Borussia Mönchengladbach has officially confirmed the diagnosis for Ukrainian defender Yukhym Konoplia. The 26-year-old sustained a torn medial collateral ligament in his right knee during a friendly match against Rot-Weiss.
The injury occurred just 12 minutes into the game following a hard challenge from an opponent. This match marked only his second appearance for the German club since his transfer during the summer window.
The club has not provided a definitive timeline for his return to the pitch, though local media reports suggest the recovery process could take several weeks.
