Fans of the 2026 World Cup will soon have the chance to secure rare pieces of football history. Christie’s Auction House and Global Citizen have launched “One Goal: An Auction to Benefit the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund,” an online sale scheduled for July 22 to 29.
Proceeds from the auction will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to expand access to quality education and football for children in underserved communities across 200 countries.
The collection features jerseys signed by stars like Lionel Messi and Santiago Gimenez, alongside match balls used in the tournament's opening games and the upcoming final at MetLife Stadium. A ball autographed by Shakira, Kaka, and FIFA president Gianni Infantino is also set to be auctioned.
In addition to these items, the auction includes the outfit Shakira will wear during her 11-minute halftime performance at the final. Other performance-related items include a ball featuring handwritten names of all halftime artists, courtesy of Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
