Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Vyacheslav Surkis has shared his feelings regarding his unexpected breakthrough into the club's first team. The 20-year-old became the primary choice after an injury sidelined teammate Ruslan Neshcheret.
The fact that I am starting at 20 years old gives me self-confidence. If someone had told me six months ago that I would be playing for the first team... Surkis emphasized that hard work remains the defining factor for any player aiming to reach the professional level. He believes that readiness to seize the moment when it arrives is essential for all positions, not just goalkeepers.
The young goalkeeper has already made five appearances for the senior team this season. Recently, Dynamo secured a 2-1 victory over Kolos in the third round of the UPL.
