Vitaliy Buyalskiy reaches 100 European appearances

Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Vitaliy Buyalskiy has reached a significant milestone in his career, making his 100th appearance in European competition. The landmark match took place during the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League against Qarabag.

Buyalskiy made his debut on the European stage in October 2014, featuring in a Europa League match against Romanian side Steaua, which ended in a 3-1 victory for the Kyiv outfit.

With this appearance, Buyalskiy joins an elite group of only six other players who have represented Ukrainian clubs in at least 100 European matches: Oleksandr Shovkovskiy (143), Darijo Srna (137), Andriy Pyatov (132), Taison and Taras Stepanenko (105 each), and Andriy Yarmolenko (103).

Additionally, during the match against Qarabag, midfielder Mykola Shaparenko reached his own milestone, marking his 70th European appearance for the club.
