Ahead of the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup final against Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany confirmed that playmaker Jamal Musiala will not be available for the squad. The decision comes as the 23-year-old undergoes necessary adjustments to his medical treatment.
Kompany reiterated that the player's wellbeing remains the absolute priority for the club. Recent health episodes involving the midfielder have been addressed by the club, and while recent changes to his treatment caused visible side-effects during match play, the staff is working closely with the player to stabilize his situation.

The situation has drawn support from across the footballing world, with Borussia Dortmund's managing director Lars Ricken expressing sympathy, noting that such episodes are concerning to witness from the outside. Sporting director Max Eberl stated that the club is providing full, family-like support to the player throughout this period.
On the positive side, Kompany confirmed that summer signing Ismael Saibari is expected to feature against Dortmund. The manager praised the new recruit's power and speed, highlighting the important role he is set to play for the team once he is fully integrated.
While Musiala focuses on his individual training sessions this week, the Bayern squad is shifting its full attention to the upcoming silverware challenge at Signal Iduna Park.
