Villarreal begins negotiations for Artem Dovbyk transfer
Spanish side Villarreal has approached Roma regarding a potential transfer for Artem Dovbyk, with the Ukrainian forward open to a return to La Liga.

Spanish club Villarreal has expressed concrete interest in signing Roma forward Artem Dovbyk. According to media reports, the Spanish side has already made an initial inquiry to the Italian club regarding a potential transfer for the Ukrainian international.
Negotiations are currently in the early stages, with no formal agreements reached between the parties involved. Nevertheless, Villarreal’s interest is described as specific. Previously, reports linked the striker with a potential move to Genoa.
Dovbyk himself is reportedly receptive to the idea of returning to Spain. After a standout season with Girona, where he finished as the top scorer in La Liga, the forward has not ruled out a comeback to the Spanish championship.
During his time with Roma this season, the Ukrainian has registered 6 goals and 2 assists in 20 appearances across all competitions.
