Veres to trial former Stuttgart youth player Rigon Spahiu
Veres Rivne has invited 23-year-old defender Rigon Spahiu, who previously played in Germany, for a trial.
Ukrainian club Veres Rivne is set to evaluate a new defensive option. The club has invited 23-year-old defender Rigon Spahiu for a trial as they look to strengthen their squad.
Spahiu brings experience from the German football system, having played for the youth setups of Stuttgart and Heidenheim. The defender is currently a free agent after his most recent stint with North Macedonian side Shkupi, where he made 13 appearances and provided one assist last season.
Capable of playing both as a central defender and on the left flank, Spahiu has also represented Kosovo at the youth international level. If the trial is successful, Veres could become the eighth club in his professional career.
