Italian side Venezia have finalized an agreement with Sevilla for the transfer of Nigerian forward Akor Adams. The deal is reportedly worth 16 million euros.
The move represents a major financial success for the Spanish club. Having signed the 26-year-old from French outfit Montpellier for 5.5 million euros only 18 months ago, Sevilla are now set to nearly triple their initial investment. During his time in Spain, Adams contributed 10 goals and 4 assists in 33 appearances.
Negotiations between the two clubs moved quickly, and the player has reportedly expressed his immediate readiness to join the Italian side ahead of their upcoming campaign in the top flight.
