Ukrainian defender Tymofii Solodarenko has officially signed a contract with the German club Werder Bremen. The player will continue his career with the club's U-19 team, as he announced via his social media channels.

The defender moved to the Bremen-based club as a free agent in July 2022, departing the Dynamo Kyiv academy where he had previously played for the U-17 side. After relocating to Germany early in the full-scale war, Solodarenko has progressed through all the age-group levels of the Werder academy.

I am very happy to continue my journey with Werder and sign a new contract. Since my arrival at U-14 level, I have continued to develop and have now signed with the U-19s. This moment means a lot to me and shows that the hard work of the past years has paid off. Tymofii Solodarenko

In the current season, the defender has made 17 appearances and provided one assist.

This marks a significant milestone in the youngster's development, highlighting his successful transition into the European football scene since leaving his home club. Moving forward, Solodarenko will focus on his continued progress within the Werder Bremen U-19 setup.
