Negotiations between Trabzonspor and superstar Mohamed Salah have reached an advanced stage, with the Turkish club pushing to secure the signing during the current summer transfer window.
According to reports from the Turkish newspaper "61 Saat", club officials are awaiting a final response from the player. Salah's first request to the board was to receive part of his salary in advance, a condition the club immediately accepted to facilitate the deal.
If there are no further setbacks, a private jet is expected to be dispatched to Greece this Wednesday to bring the captain of the Egypt national team to Istanbul, before he travels to Trabzon to finalize the transfer.
The pursuit of the Egyptian forward has generated significant excitement among supporters. Should the move proceed, the club is preparing a special reception for the player upon his arrival.
Once the Salah file is closed, the board plans to focus on further attacking reinforcements. The club president is set to meet with head coach Fatih Tekke after the preparatory camp to finalize new arrivals, as there are concerns regarding whether Paul Onuachu can lead the frontline alone.
