The hosts appeared ready to celebrate when club captain Marquinhos opened the scoring in the 31st minute, but the visitors rallied brilliantly after the break. Flavio Nazinho equalised for the away side before Stanis Idumbo struck the decisive winner in the 72nd minute.

PSG must now quickly recover from this latest blow, which compounds earlier 2-2 draws against Rennes and Lille, as well as a French Super Cup loss to Lens last month. Their league struggles will be pushed aside as continental action returns, with Les Parisiens set to host Slovan Bratislava at the Parc des Princes next week.
