Dynamo Kyiv has begun pre-season preparations, with the squad undergoing medical examinations on Saturday, June 13. The team is now shifting focus to their upcoming Europa League qualifying campaign.
Head coach Igor Kostiuk has selected a group of 36 players to attend the pre-season training camp in Austria. The roster includes seven returning players who spent the previous season on loan, all of whom will be given an opportunity to earn a spot in the first-team squad.
The returning players include midfielders Navin Malysh and Roman Salenko, both previously with Zorya, and Valentyn Rubchynskyi, who played for Karpaty Lviv. Defender Oleksii Husiev returns from Kudrivka, while winger Vladyslav Herych joins the group following his time at Chornomorets Odesa.
The coaching staff will also evaluate two international players: midfielder Justin Lonwijk, who gained experience with the Dutch side Fortuna Sittard, and winger Angel Torres, who spent time at the Turkish club Eyüpspor.
