Since moving from Manchester United to Napoli in the summer of 2024, Scott McTominay has elevated his career to new heights. In Serie A, the Scottish midfielder has not only adapted to the Italian style but has become a talismanic figure, earning the league's MVP award and contributing significantly to the attack.
His impressive form has naturally fueled speculation regarding a potential return to the Premier League. Former Scotland international Kenny Miller believes McTominay is currently enjoying his life in Italy, where he is adored by the supporters. Miller suggested that it would take a truly special offer to pull him away from Naples, despite the likelihood of significant interest from English clubs should he decide to move.
Currently, McTominay is focused on leading Scotland at the 2026 World Cup. Miller highlighted McTominay's evolution into an all-around midfielder, capable of dictating the tempo from deeper positions, particularly in the absence of Billy Gilmour, while still maintaining his goal-scoring instincts.
