Rotan: Substitutions failed to strengthen Polissya against Kryvbas

In the seventh round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Zhytomyr's Polissya secured a 1-0 home victory against Kryvbas. Despite securing the three points, manager Ruslan Rotan was not entirely satisfied with his team's overall display.

I think it is too early to talk about any championship-winning performances. We need to grow into a team that, when leading 1-0, makes it at least 2-0 and brings the game to a calmer and more confident conclusion. Ruslan Rotan

The manager highlighted that the team lost its composure and cohesion toward the end of the match. Rotan was particularly critical of the players introduced from the bench, noting that they failed to provide the expected impact.

It is also worth noting that the substitutions made did not strengthen our game. With the exception of Leandro Andrade, all substitutes had a negative impact. By the end, we no longer looked like the cohesive team we were in the first part of the match. Ruslan Rotan
