Roma officially completes permanent signing of Donyell Malen
The Italian club has activated its mandatory purchase option for the forward following their qualification for European competition.
Roma has officially confirmed the permanent signing of central forward Donyell Malen. The club triggered a mandatory purchase clause in his loan agreement with Aston Villa after securing European qualification for the 2025/26 season.
By finishing third in Serie A, the club fulfilled the contractual obligations to buy the Dutch striker. The new deal ties him to the Italian side until June 30, 2030.
