Rodrigo Garro analyzes Corinthians' elimination and thanks fans for support

Corinthians midfielder Rodrigo Garro has shared his perspective on the team's elimination from the Copa do Brasil. Despite winning 2-1 in the second leg at the Neo Química Arena, the team could not overcome the deficit from their match against Internacional.

Garro pointed out that the opponent’s defensive strategy, specifically their "low block," made it extremely difficult for Corinthians to be effective in attack. To break through, the team relied heavily on crossing into the box, looking for Pedro Raul as the primary target.

The Argentine praised the fans who created an incredible atmosphere throughout the 90 minutes. Despite the sadness of the exit, he remains confident that the team has the strength to remain competitive in other competitions, including the Copa Libertadores and the domestic league.

Garro also offered a critique regarding the officiating, noting that frequent stoppages reduced the actual playing time. However, he emphasized that the team must focus on self-criticism rather than looking for excuses, urging his teammates to work harder to improve their performance.
