Robin Roefs signs new long-term Sunderland contract

Dutch goalkeeper Robin Roefs has officially committed his long-term future to Sunderland by signing a contract extension that runs until 2031. The 23-year-old established himself as a vital defensive cornerstone last season, recording 10 clean sheets across 35 Premier League appearances.

His standout debut campaign earned him the club's Men's Young Player of the Season award and a senior international debut for the Netherlands. Sporting director Florent Ghisolfi praised the goalkeeper's attitude during the announcement.
