Reports: Real Madrid interested in signing Scott McTominay

Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay could be set for a move to Spain. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Real Madrid have expressed interest in signing the Scottish international.
The move is reportedly being driven by new Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, who is eager to bring the player to the club. The pair previously worked together during their time at Manchester United.
McTominay has been in fine form throughout the 2025/26 season, registering 14 goals and four assists in 44 appearances across all competitions. Under contract until June 2028, the midfielder is currently valued at €40 million by Transfermarkt.
This potential pursuit highlights Mourinho's desire to bolster his midfield with a player who is already familiar with his tactical requirements and has proven experience at the elite level.
