In a match for the second round of the Spanish La Liga, Real Madrid secured a convincing 4-1 victory against Real Sociedad. Despite the visitors' resilience in the first half, the team led by José Mourinho managed to break the deadlock and dominate the game after the break.
Kylian Mbappé was the star of the night, scoring three times to complete his hat-trick. Vinícius Júnior also found the back of the net for the hosts. Luka Sučić scored the lone goal for the Basque side, briefly leveling the score late in the first half.
The squad managed by Pellegrino Matarazzo held on until halftime, but they eventually crumbled under the pressure in the second half. Real Madrid's offensive intensity left Álex Remiro's defense exposed, resulting in three additional goals for the home side.
