RB Leipzig reach agreement with two Strasbourg players to replace Diomande
RB Leipzig have secured personal terms with Diego Moreira and Samir El Mourabet to fill the void left by Yan Diomande's move to Real Madrid.

Following the high-profile departure of Yan Diomande to Real Madrid, RB Leipzig have moved quickly to reshape their squad. Known for their ability to nurture elite young talent, the German club has turned to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg to fill the gap.
Former Chelsea winger Diego Moreira has emerged as the priority target. According to reports, the Belgium international has already given his approval to the move. In addition to Moreira, Leipzig are making significant progress in their pursuit of midfielder Samir El Mourabet, another highly-rated prospect currently developing at the Stade de la Meinau.
These operations represent a calculated step in Leipzig's recruitment strategy. By securing the players' agreements first, the Red Bull-backed club has effectively put pressure on Strasbourg to negotiate. The French side is expected to drive a hard bargain, especially given the windfall Leipzig received from the Diomande deal.
Strasbourg has already faced a challenging summer, having parted ways with captain Emmanuel Emegha and midfielder Valentin Barco. With those key exits already confirmed, the club is set to demand substantial fees and add-ons before sanctioning another double departure, setting the stage for critical board-level negotiations.
