Barcelona winger Raphinha has officially returned to training after recovering from a right hamstring injury. The Brazilian star arrived at the club's training camp at St George's Park in England on Wednesday to rejoin his team-mates.
Raphinha sustained the injury during his involvement in the World Cup, where he played just two matches before Brazil were eliminated in the round of 16 by Norway.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the player received a warm welcome from his team-mates before Thursday's training session. He completed the initial group portion of the session before transitioning to individual work.
As the rest of the squad began their pre-season work nearly two weeks ago, the coaching staff, led by Hansi Flick, intends to increase the Brazilian's workload gradually. The morning session focused heavily on physical conditioning, overseen by new fitness coach Benjamín Kügel, before the players moved on to ball-work drills.
