Rangers make offer for striker Kelsy as Celtic chase signings
Rangers have bid for striker Kevin Kelsy while Celtic pursue multiple loan and permanent deals to bolster their squad.
Rangers have submitted a bid of approximately £7.5m for Portland Timbers striker Kevin Kelsy. However, the MLS club is currently unwilling to sell, and the 22-year-old Venezuelan is not pushing for a move.
Rangers have also agreed a deal to sign former Hearts left-back James Penrice on loan from AEK Athens, featuring a buy-option clause.
Additionally, Rangers are among several clubs—including Fenerbahce, Ajax, and Lyon—that have requested information regarding 20-year-old Girona winger Min-Su Kim.
Celtic are also active in the market, monitoring Slovan Liberec attacking midfielder Ermin Mahmic and holding advanced talks regarding a loan deal for 18-year-old Chelsea left-back Landon Emenalo.
Furthermore, Celtic retain interest in Hajduk Split right-back Niko Sigur and Torino midfielder Gvidas Ginetis as they look to strengthen their midfield and defensive options.
