Girona head coach Quique Álvarez has stressed that his side is fully prepared to put up a strong fight against Albacete in their upcoming LaLiga Hypermotion fixture, despite facing a challenging personnel situation.
The squad has been hit by multiple injuries, compounded by the ongoing international break which has taken several key players away from the training ground. Álvarez emphasized that his job as coach is to adapt and find the best possible solutions with the resources available.

I must try to field the best team with the players we have. We have possibilities. It is what it is, and we cannot beat ourselves up about it. We have to face it. Regarding their opponents, Álvarez warned his players against complacency, describing Albacete as a dangerous side that competes well despite early-season struggles. He cautioned that it is a "trap game" where focus is paramount.
The coach also highlighted areas for improvement, particularly in controlling "mini-matches" within the game and maintaining order throughout the full 90 minutes. Regarding squad updates, he confirmed that Unai is expected to be available, while Bryan Gil remains sidelined. The club is working to determine if any of the six players away on international duty will be ready for the subsequent match against Mallorca.
