Pedro Porro played a pivotal role in Tottenham's acquisition of Matheus Fernandes this summer. The London club secured the Portuguese midfielder for 85 million pounds, successfully beating Manchester United to the signing.
The former Sporting Lisbon teammates have now reunited at Spurs. In an interview, Fernandes revealed that Porro had not only been calling him to persuade him to join the club, but had also specifically lobbied manager Roberto De Zerbi to get the deal across the line.
