Parma sacks Carlos Cuesta: Tudor and Gilardino among potential replacements
The Italian club has officially parted ways with the Spanish manager following a difficult start to the season. The board is evaluating new candidates for the role.

The board of Parma has made the decision to dismiss manager Carlos Cuesta. The Spanish coach, formerly an assistant to Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, took charge of the club ahead of the 2025/26 season but failed to meet expectations.
The current campaign has proven difficult for the 'Gialloblu'. After five matches, the team sits in 15th place with only four points. Despite a win over Catania in the Coppa Italia, a 1/16 final exit against Cremonese contributed to the board's decision.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Igor Tudor and Alberto Gilardino are the leading candidates to replace the 31-year-old Spaniard. Tudor has been out of work since leaving Tottenham in March, while Gilardino, a former Parma striker in the early 2000s, parted ways with Pisa in February.
