On fire! Juninho scores against Puebla to reach nine goals

Pumas striker Juninho continues his impressive run, netting his ninth goal of the current tournament. The Brazilian found the back of the net against Club Puebla at Estadio Cuauhtémoc, following an assist from Rodrigo López.

With this strike, Juninho has already surpassed his goal tally from the previous campaign, where he finished with eight goals (including the playoffs). While he remains a vital asset, he is currently four goals behind the league's top scorer, Salomón Rondón.

Despite the goal, the match remained a challenge for Solari's side. Defensive lapses allowed Omar Moreno to equalize for the hosts, making it 1-1. The result puts pressure on Pumas as they fight to stay in contention for a top-eight finish in the table.
