Morocco star Brahim Diaz receives Flamengo shirt
Morocco's number 10 Brahim Diaz was presented with a retro Flamengo jersey and expressed his affection for Brazilian football culture.

Real Madrid midfielder and Morocco star Brahim Diaz received a special gift during his time at the 2026 World Cup. Following the Atlas Lions' dominant 3-0 victory over Canada in the Round of 16, the player was presented with a vintage Flamengo jersey.
The shirt chosen for the Moroccan playmaker was the 2001 model, a legendary kit for the club's supporters as it marks the year they secured the Rio de Janeiro state championship with a dramatic last-minute free-kick goal by Dejan Petkovic against Vasco da Gama.

Following their impressive run, Brahim Diaz and his teammates are now focusing on their next challenge. Morocco is set to face France in the quarterfinals on July 9 at Gillette Stadium in Boston, with a spot in the semifinals on the line.
