Messi reacts to Eldense's first victory under new ownership
Lionel Messi celebrated Eldense's dominant 4-1 win against Real Oviedo, the club's first victory since the Argentine star became its owner.

Lionel Messi has celebrated his first success as a football club owner. The Spanish side Eldense, which was officially acquired by the Argentine superstar on October 1st, secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Real Oviedo this weekend.
Following the match at the Nuevo Pepico Amat stadium, Messi took to social media to share his reaction, posting a photo of himself following the game with the caption "Aupa Deportivo."
The match began in difficult fashion for the hosts, as Alberto Reina gave Oviedo the lead within the first minute. However, Eldense turned the game around in the second half. Roberto Lopez equalized from the penalty spot in the 56th minute, and Fidel Chaves completed the turnaround in the 68th minute. Late goals from Aingeru Olabarrieta and Jorge Rastrojo sealed the 4-1 win.
This result marks the first victory for the team under manager Javier Calleja. Beyond the pitch, Messi is reportedly restructuring the club’s leadership. Pablo Garcia Montañés and Alfonso Nebot, key figures in Messi's business circle, were present at the stadium to observe the team's performance firsthand.
