Massimiliano Allegri names eight Serie A title contenders

Napoli head coach Massimiliano Allegri has shared his expectations for the new Serie A season. The Italian tactician believes the race for the Scudetto will be highly competitive, identifying eight clubs capable of challenging for the league title.

While Allegri naturally pointed to Inter as the favorites given they are the reigning champions, he listed a broad group of competitors. Along with Napoli and Inter, he included Juventus, AC Milan, Como, AS Roma, Fiorentina, and Atalanta in his list of contenders.
