Marchisio: Juventus must strengthen midfield, Vlahovic made a mistake
Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio shared his thoughts on the squad, criticizing Vlahovic's recent choices while backing Gatti for more minutes.

Former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has shared his assessment of the current situation at the club. According to the legend, the team must prioritize reinforcements in the midfield during the January transfer window.
Marchisio also highlighted the role of Federico Gatti, stating that the defender deserves more playing time in the rotation. Reflecting on Gatti's goal against AC Milan, Marchisio remarked:
If I had been him, I would have taken the ball straight away and carried it to the centre circle, but I understand the emotion of the moment.
Addressing the situation of striker Dusan Vlahovic, Marchisio was critical. He believes the Serbian should have handled his relationship with the club differently:
I would have accepted a lower salary to stay at Juve. What's more, he has gone to play for a team who do not play in the Champions League.
Finally, Marchisio offered advice to Francisco Conceicao, suggesting he should sign an extension immediately, as playing for Juventus remains a dream opportunity.
