Atalanta midfielder Ederson is edging closer to a move to Manchester United. The clubs have made significant progress in negotiations, with a full agreement expected to be reached soon.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the remaining hurdle is to finalize the structure of performance-based bonuses, though the transfer is widely expected to proceed. The deal is reportedly valued at 45 million euros. The 26-year-old is set to sign a contract running until 2031, with an annual salary of 5 million euros.
Previously, Atletico Madrid were considered the frontrunners in the race to sign the Brazilian. This season, the midfielder has contributed three goals and two assists in 41 appearances for Atalanta across all competitions.
