Major Renovation: Bukovyna Upgrades Stadium for UPL
FC Bukovyna has launched a full pitch replacement and infrastructure upgrade at their stadium following their promotion to the top flight.
FC Bukovyna has launched a large-scale renovation of their stadium immediately following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season. The club is committed to a full modernization of the arena to ensure it meets all the mandatory criteria and standards of the Ukrainian Premier League.
The first phase of the project involves the removal of the old turf. The pitch will subsequently be equipped with modern underground drainage systems, automatic irrigation, and electric heating. Once the construction work is complete, a new professional-grade roll-out turf produced in Ukraine will be installed.
In addition to the pitch, preparations for installing a modern lighting system are underway, and work on administrative offices is nearing completion. The club's office will soon relocate directly to the stadium grounds as part of the upgraded infrastructure.
The wider context is that Bukovyna is returning to the top tier of Ukrainian football for the first time in 32 years. Meeting these infrastructure standards is essential for the club to host top-flight matches at their home ground.
Next, the club will proceed with the remaining stages of the modernization plan to ensure the facility is fully operational for the upcoming campaign.
