Luis Enrique praises courageous Le Mans after PSG victory

PSG head coach Luis Enrique expressed his satisfaction after watching his team secure a 3-1 victory over Le Mans at the Parc des Princes. This result marks the fourth consecutive win for the Parisian side across all competitions as they look to close the gap on the league leaders.

The match saw Lucas Beraldo open the scoring from the penalty spot, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Maghnes Akliouche sealing the points in the second half. Despite Louis Mafouta equalizing for the visitors in the 54th minute, the hosts demonstrated the necessary character to reclaim control.

It was an almost perfect result. We conceded a goal and it was tough. Knowing that we expected to face difficulties, we can say that the team was brave. We controlled the match, and it was not easy because I have to highlight the way Le Mans played, they showed a lot of courage. Luis Enrique

Tactical adjustments proved decisive, as substitutes Fabian Ruiz and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia combined to restore the lead just after the hour mark. Luis Enrique emphasized the significance of these points in the broader context of their domestic campaign.

With the domestic objective achieved, PSG are now shifting their focus toward European competition. The manager confirmed the squad is prepared for a challenging away fixture against English opposition in the Champions League.
