Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez has issued a stern warning to his teammates following their 2-2 draw against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. The striker, who single-handedly rescued a point with two goals, insisted that the team's recurring defensive frailties early in matches must be addressed.
The match marked the fourth consecutive game across Serie A and the Champions League in which Simone Inzaghi's side has trailed 2-0 before the 40th minute. While the defending champions have shown immense character, Martinez admitted that the current trend is unsustainable.
