Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has hit another major milestone following his triumphant 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign with Spain. The teenager has now dominated the latest Goldin’s Global Football Auction, with his memorabilia fetching record-breaking prices.
The headline item was a black, one-of-one Kaboom rookie card from the 2023-24 Panini Donruss FIFA collection. The extremely rare piece commanded a staggering $707,600, marking the highest public price ever recorded for a Yamal trading card.
Yamal's record-breaking card significantly outperformed memorabilia from football icons Pele and Lionel Messi sold at the same event. A graded 1958 Pele rookie card fetched $610,000, while a unique Messi card from the 2023-24 Topps Chrome Sapphire collection brought in $317,200, leaving the teenager well ahead of both legends.
Beyond the top lot, collector interest in Yamal remains intense. A gold Kaboom rookie card, numbered out of 10, sold for $189,100, while a match-worn Barcelona shirt from the 2023-24 Champions League campaign added $152,500 to the total. Combined, these three items generated over $1 million for the auction house.
