Kryvbas parts ways with midfielder Joel Maya
The Ukrainian club has opted against triggering the buyout clause for the 20-year-old Ecuadorian, who returns to his parent club.
Kryvbas has officially announced the departure of 20-year-old midfielder Joel Isak Maya Zambrano. The Ecuadorian player, who spent the past season on loan with the club, will not be staying on a permanent basis after the management decided against activating his buyout clause.
During his loan spell, Maya made eight appearances for the senior team, scoring one goal. He also gained additional experience with the youth squad, featuring in six matches and contributing one goal.
Following the expiration of his loan agreement, the midfielder is set to return to his parent club, El Nacional. This move is part of the ongoing squad adjustments under Patrick van Leeuwen, following the recent departure of midfielder Maksym Zaderaka.
