Kolos were held to a goalless draw at home by Obolon in the fourth round of the Ukrainian Premier League. While the match finished 0-0, head coach Ruslan Kostyshyn used his post-match press conference to voice strong dissatisfaction with the officiating.
The manager was particularly unhappy with the amount of stoppage time added at the end of the game:
We have major problems at the start of the season. I want to talk about the refereeing. Let them fine me. But how can you only add two minutes? I will say it frankly to the whole country — I have the feeling that Obolon beer is his favorite. He loves Obolon beer and that influenced his officiating. Ruslan Kostyshyn
Beyond the refereeing complaints, Kostyshyn addressed the team's current situation. He explained that missing six key players has forced him to field debutants or players who are not yet fully match-fit. Despite the difficulties, the coach praised his available players for their attitude and for limiting the opponent's chances throughout the game.
Kolos continues to navigate a challenging start to the campaign. Their next test will be an away match against Kryvbas in Kryvyi Rih.
