England captain Harry Kane has shared his thoughts following the 2-1 victory over Norway in the 2026 World Cup quarter-finals. Despite reaching the final four, the striker believes the Three Lions have yet to display their best football.

"Before the game today, we talked about taking the handbrake off and really going for it. I've seen our training and our capabilities, especially in the final third. We haven't quite clicked yet. But we are in the semi-finals without playing our best football. If we can show that on Wednesday, it could be the deciding factor," Kane said.

Disallowed goal? I thought the offside was quite controversial. It annoyed me at the time. I also think there was a penalty on me that easily could have been given. But it doesn't matter now. We are through to the semi-finals, and I'm very satisfied. Harry Kane

Kane has already recorded six goals and one assist in the 2026 World Cup. England is now preparing for a semi-final clash against Argentina, which will determine one of the finalists for the tournament.
