Juventus is working actively to strengthen its midfield options. According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Turin club is evaluating moves for two high-profile midfielders who are currently available on the market.
New technical director Ricky Massara has already reached out to the representatives of Franck Kessié. Massara has a strong professional relationship with the Ivorian midfielder dating back to their time at AC Milan, which could prove advantageous in negotiations. It is reported that Kessié is open to a return to Serie A following his stint in Saudi Arabia.
The primary hurdle for Juventus remains the financial structure of a potential deal. The high wage demands of the 28-year-old midfielder, combined with significant commission fees for his representatives, mean the club must carefully weigh its financial capacity before proceeding.
In addition to Kessié, Juventus is keeping a close eye on German midfielder Leon Goretzka. Following his departure from Bayern Munich, he is currently a free agent, making him an attractive addition to the club’s transfer shortlist.
